Nothing
says
Atlanta
like
endless
construction
and
long
commutes,
and
gay
Atlanta
is
no
different.
Like
our
city’s
streets,
our
very
community
is
constantly
being
built
and
rebuilt.
And
as
the
entire
region
becomes
more
open
and
accepting,
gay
people
are
no
longer
compelled
to
cluster
together
in
a
few
gayborhoods
—
meaning
there
are
more
of
us
stuck
in
traffic
every
day,
but
also
more
of
us
bringing
gay
visibility
to
the
suburbs
and
exurbs.
After
more
than
a
month
of
online
voting
and
thousands
of
ballots
cast,
SoVo
readers
named
the
following
people,
organizations,
events
and
businesses
as
the
very
best
in
gay
Atlanta.
Some
of
the
names
on
this
year’s
list
are
perennial
favorites,
while
others
are
newcomers
just
beginning
to
make
their
mark.
We’re
still
a
community
under
construction,
and
we
wouldn’t
have
it
any
other
way.
